“It’s a great satisfaction! The players managed to put the context to one side and played well in a strange atmosphere inside the ground. We were solid at the back and Sochaux didn’t have many chances. Our strikers were present and accounted for and tonight we saw how well Erding and Hoarau can play together. We mustn’t look at the standings and just play to win. If we win a few more points we’ll see we stand at the end. A good result against Nice next week and we’ll be ready for our French Cup quarter-final against Auxerre.”

“That’s great! The win copes after a good game against Lens. We played well again and our strikers scored the goals. It’s very positive. It’s been a long time since we last scored four goals at the Parc. It’s great for the morale. I felt really good tonight. I just needed that little goal. Tonight we knocked the ball around, quick little passes, lots of movement, everything I like!”

I prefer to look at the team’s performance rather than my own personal performance because the most important thing is for us to climb up the standings.
