Guillaume Hoarau is hoping to capitalise on Saturday’s trip to Lens to get back to winning ways before hooking up with the club’s supporters a week later!
Guillaume, how is the squad preparing for the Lens game?“We’ve been thinking about this game since the start of the week. After the heavy defeat to Marseille, there’s no point crying over spilt milk. The championship is going to be tough right to the end. We’re sad, upset and angry, but we can’t think about that now. We have to be professional. When things aren’t working out, you have to work twice as hard. That’s what we’re doing at it will pay off.”

A few of your comments about the supporters seem to have been misinterpreted...
“I saw on the PSG.FR forum that certain supporters were angry at me after my comments. I’d like to insist that nothing I said was in reference to the PSG supporters. The people I was talking about cannot be qualified as supporters. At Paris, we have one of the best publics in the land. The supporters are disappointed, like all of us. They give as much to the club as we do. I said certain people give these real supporters a bad reputation. I was talking to them. I would never criticise the PSG’s real fans. Never. We need them. There’s a love story between the Club and the public. A minority of people are causing the problems. But it’s their actions that grab the headlines and that people remember.” So obviously you’ll continue to celebrate your goals with the fans at the Parc des Princes!
“Of course. When our opponents come to the Parc, they know the fans will be tough. They’re our 12th man. We owe a lot to our supporters because the results haven’t been good enough this season. They’ll be there, behind us, right to the end. We can only apologise for our poor performances, such as the one against Marseille. But that’s behind us now. We have to learn from this type of performance to move on.”
