No holidays for PSG’s giant striker!!After another gruelling session concocted by the club’s physical trainer Raphaël Fèvre, the capital club’s number 9 talks about his rehabilitation program designed and having him back on the pitch better than ever...
Guillaume, how is your training going with Raphaël Fèvre?“That was La Grand session! We worked on power and explosiveness. It was a really tough training session. We’re going to keep getting stronger until the restart in 2010 so that I’ll be back as quickly as possible.” When do you plan on training normally with the squad?
“At best, I’ll be back when everyone returns to training. We’ve been working well, without rushing things. Then I’ll be a footballer again. At any rate, it’s been great to get back on the pitch. All things being equal, I should be back kicking a ball by the end of the week so everything is going well.”

How do you feel physically?
“Better and better. I’ve been running again for the last two weeks. As long as it’s going well, we keep pushing a little harder. I feel good. It’s my third ‘preseason’ this season so I should have plenty in reserve. I’m going to take my time, do it properly and calmly and I’ll be ready.” Are you getting itchy feet ahead to get back to training?
“Yes. I can’t wait to get back, but it’s not becoming an obsession. I’ll be back in good time. I have to wait for the green light before attacking the next phase of my re-education. But I am impatient to get back training with my mates.”
