PSG coach Antoine Kombouaré looks back at the capital club’s 1-1 draw at Lens and looks ahead to Saturday’s game against Rennes.
Coach, have you gotten over the match against Lens?“First of all, it’s good to be playing again so quickly because at the time we were very disappointed to have conceded that late goal. We felt like we’d done the hard part. Getting straight back into the saddle means we don’t have time to dwell. We’ve had a good look at the goal we conceded and looked to improve. Now we have to move on and prepare for Rennes.” The weather conditions have made training difficult...
“It’s tough because we haven’t been able to play on a grass pitch. But like I said to the players: I don’t want any excuses. I hate that. It’s not easy to prepare for this game but we need to get ready and try and win. We want to go to Rennes and play as well as we can, without thinking about our training conditions.”

You don’t have much time to prepare...
“The weather has complicated matters. We had our warm down on Thursday and had to work indoors on Friday, working without the ball and also with basketball and football. Our work in this conditions hasn’t been easy, but we’re ready to take on Rennes.” What do you think of this Rennes team?
“Rennes have some great individual players. Leroy, Briand and Gyan are all coming back. Like us, this team has the potential to play well and create danger at any moment. They have a problem scoring goals and they never deserved to lose to Monaco...”
