A Parisian in South Africa

World Cup draw | 2009-12-26 | 10:00

French radio station ‘France Info’ invited PSG youth academy player Romuald Lacazette to the 2010 World Cup finals draw, held in Cape Town on 4 December.

The young Parisian Romuald Lacazette had the great honour to travel to South Africa and witness the draw for the 2010 World Cup. It was a great reward for the youngster for a good start to the current campaign and his regular call-ups to the France U-16 squad.

“It will always be a great memory,” revealed Romuald. “Bruno Skropeta (Director of Communications) came to ask me if I wanted to go. We had a lot of guided tours, like in the South African mountains, along Long Street, the Cape’s longest street. I was also live on the radio. I also checked out training of a local team. It was the first time I’ve been to South Africa and I will never forget it.”
