“First of all you have to congratulate this Lens side because we thought we’d done the hardest part when we opened the scoring. To score the opening goal 15 minutes before the end seemed ideal, but we couldn’t hold onto our advantage. It was a huge disappointment with victory just minutes away. Now we have to get back to work and back on track ahead of our trip to Rennes. We need to get back our defensive strength because tonight, we showed some real defensive weaknesses. We have to be stronger and avoid conceding goals.”

“It remains an important point. We have to play well away to Rennes and confirm that against Grenoble. I’m very optimistic for our two remaining games of the year. The standings are very tight and every point counts.”

“It’s a shame because we created chances. We’ve been playing better for the last four or five games. We’re disappointed. We want to play well and there are lessons to be learned from this game. We’ve got two games left before the end of the year and we need to build on this performance, even if we dropped two points. It was great to score. I played a one-two with Mevlut (Erding) and the ‘keeper came out. I pulled off the dribble and the ball went in. My teammates were happy for me and wouldn’t let me enjoy it myself!”
