PSG forward Jean-Eudes Maurice looks back of his performances so far this season...
Jean-Eudes, you're playing more this season. How do you feel now when you head out onto the pitch?"I try not to put too much pressure on myself, I just tell myself I have to give it everything and try and do my best out on the pitch." For your first season in Ligue 1, you came on against Marseille at the Stade Vélodrome... how was that?
"It wasn't easy! We were losing 1-0 and I didn't have the time to think about anything or imagine what was going to happen or what to do or not do. I tried to give it my best for the team but unfortunately that wasn't enough." Against Bordeaux (0-1), you came off the bench again and played very well and created some good chances. What do you need to do to turn those chances into goals?
"I lacked the right finish. I had two good chances and I didn't score." Is there a big difference between playing with the reserves and in Ligue 1?
"You need to be better technically and tactically. In Ligue 1, you have to use the ball better. Obviously there's a big difference between to the championships, but the reserve league (CFA) is a good standard."

How are you approaching this weekend's game against Saint-Etienne?
"We'll be up against a side that is starting to play some good football. We expect a tough game, but we're ready." Les Verts play Lille on Thursday. Can their playing in midweek have a bearing on the outcome?
"Last weekend, we played on the Wednesday against Boulogne (5-2) and then against Bordeaux on the Saturday. We finished the game against Bordeaux the better. In my opinion, it won't change anything." You scored in the League Cup and then in Ligue 1, both times against Boulogne. You would appear to like the Stade de la Libération!
"I hope it continues and I score at lots of Ligue 1 stadiums, otherwise I'd be a bit worried." What are your goals for the rest of the season?
"To keep on playing and learning from Peguy (Luyindula), Mev' (Erding), Guillaume (Hoarau)…And to play as much as possible and just enjoying it and really having a go."
