Antoine Kombouaré looks back at PSG's 1-0 win over Auxerre, tarnished by the injury to Grégory Coupet.

"We're happy with the win, but our evening has been ruined because we've lost a great goalkeeper and a real team leader. It's a very serious injury. We have to do everything we can to get the team back up the standings for when Greg Coupet comes back. We're upset, devastated, it's a huge loss for the team. He's a great lad who brings so much to the squad. At the start of the season, I insisted that Edel didn't leave the club – he's an excellent 'keeper and now he has the chance to show it. Auxerre weren't top of the table by chance and were coming off seven consecutive victories, so we knew it was going to be a tough game. It's a huge satisfaction. We got the three points, we struggled, but we showed a lot of character. It was a team win. And now we have to prepare immediately for our match in hand on Wednesday against Boulogne."

"We should be celebrating tonight after an important victory, but we don't feel like partying. We're almost certain that Greg has fractured his left ankle. It's a terrible blow because he's such an important member of the squad. He's a great worker, is a seasoned pro and always has a positive impact. He's a fighter and is already looking forward to his comeback. He's got a great personality. We'll know tomorrow how long he'll be sidelined for."

"It was important to win for Greg. This match is dedicated to him. He'll be back quickly because he's so strong, mentally. We've got the three points after a very tough month. We needed to keep a cleansheet. We'd only won one in our last eight and we were desperate to win tonight. We've got another important match on Wednesday and we need to go on with it."

"It was a good result. We struggled a little bit at the start because we're low on confidence, but we never dropped our heads. We wanted to pressure them so that couldn't bring the ball out f defence easily. That allowed us to do some good things, and we even had a little more confidence in ourselves towards the end. It's good to get the win ahead of Wednesday's game against Boulogne. We need a series of victories to get back towards the top as quickly as possible. Greg's injury is the real black spot of the evening. He's a great example for the squad and we hope he gets well soon."

"It's tough to see a teammate down. We know that Greg is incredibly strong mentally. He always has a smile, even at the moment and that's a very good thing. Now we have to play for ourselves and him. It's great to have kept a cleansheet and we need to build on that in the coming games. We need to recuperate well and prepare for the Boulogne game which want be easy because they need points."

"It's good to win, especially good at the Parc. We were coming off a poor result and we really wanted to get going again with the three points. We've done that, and now I really hope we can go on with it against Boulogne on Wednesday sowe can head to Bordeaux full of confidence."
