Sylvain Armand talks ahead PSG’s three consecutive road trips, starting with this Sunday evening’s match against Toulouse, at 9pm...
Sylvain, has the break for the international matches been good?“It was okay. We’ve recovered from our last few games. We’ve worked hard and prepared for getting back to winning ways. We need to earn some points from our three trips away (Toulouse, Marseille and Sochaux).” How are you approaching the trip to Toulouse?
“Anything can happen. We’re very focused. Even if we made a mess of our last away match against Lorient, we still managed to come back with a point. We’ve worked very hard at ensuring that we don’t make the same mistakes again. We’ll try and grab the points where we can. I think we can get all three away to Toulouse. It will be a good thing to fill up on the confidence ahead of the trip to Marseille.”

What do you have to be look out for in this TFC?
“Toulouse are coming off a great season last year. They’re full of confidence. Even if Gignac hasn’t been scoring much in the league, he showed with the France side that he’s an instinctive goal scorer. Sissoko is also playing for Les Bleus and there are lots of other good players. Their squad hasn’t changed much over the off season and we’re looking for revenge after the 4-1 defeat there last season(22/03/09).” Mevlut Erding, Zoumana Camara and Guillaume Hoarau have all resumed training. Is it good to have them back in the squad?
“It’s always good to have as many players available as possible. They are all important players and it’s great to see them back.” On Wednesday, you were at the Paris Town Hall to find out which junior club you’ll be big brothering. How was it?
“Really good. We go there every year. It’s good to do it for the kids who are always happy to see us. You mustn’t forget that that was us once as well. It’s good to hang out with the kids again and make them happy.”
