Antoine Kombouaré looks back at PSG’s one-all draw away to Montpellier and calls on all the Rouge et Bleu supporters to head to the Parc des Princes for Saturday’s match against Le Mans at 19:00.

Antoine, how are you feeling after the Montpellier draw?
“One mustn’t jump to conclusions. I’ve got four matches to play before I gauge the true value of the squad. But the result was a big disappointment – especially the result. When you’re a goal and man up then you have to hang on for the win. But it’s still an away point. Now we have to move on. The most important thing is always the next match. We can’t change the past.”

Is the team ready to take on Le Mans on Saturday?
“We need to work this week towards being ready for Saturday night and be sure to get the win, play a good game and bond with the supporters. We need to see a great PSG and plenty of fans for this first home game of the campaign. We’re expecting a tough game. I saw Le Mans’ match against Lyon and they played really well. A bit like us, they were disappointed to have lost the win in the final seconds.”

You watched the reserve team lose 2-0 to… Le Mans last weekend. What did you think of the game?
“It was disappointing to lose. It wasn’t an easy game with a lot of new players in the reserves. I didn’t see a team that wanted to win. As for the players, it’s never easy to tell in a context so different to the pro squad.”

How did Guillaume Hoarau feel?
“He played the full 90 minutes which he hadn’t done in nearly three months so he just needs to keep getting playing time and not re-injure himself. He’s on the right track but we have to be careful. We’ll see if he’s ready for Saturday by how he works this week in training.”
