”When you’re upset, you tend to get carried away when you say things,” explained Abdel Barrada. “I’m coming back from injury and I just want to work hard to get back to my best form from last season – the type of form that saw me called up to train with the first team and sign a first professional contract with PSG, the club I love. I’m not bitter. I want to stay at PSG and make a name for myself. I would never criticise the coach - I have too much respect for that,” he added.
