Following in the footsteps of Raï, Valdo and Ricardo, Marcos Ceará’s first aim is to write his own chapter into PSG’s history of Brazilian players.

Marcos, how do you feel after signing a new contract with Paris Saint-Germain?
“The club and I reached an agreement for a new two year extension to me contract. My old contract ran until 2010, the new one, until 2012. I’m very happy to continue the adventure with PSG and I hope this season will be even better than last year. My objective is to give everything to win titles with Paris Saint-Germain.”


What was it that convinced you to sign a new deal with PSG?
“First of all, PSG is a big club. The aim for this season is to finish high up in the league, qualify for the Champions League and win some silverware. I find that very motivating and I want to be part of it.”

How do you feel in Paris and at PSG?
“I feel right at home in Paris. All my family and I feel great here. Paris Saint-Germain is an excellent club and I hope to continue here like Raï, Valdo, Ricardo and a lot of other Brazilian players have done. I want to become a player that left his mark at the club and became a part of history.”
