Sessegnon extends PSG deal

Contracts | 2009-07-07 | 17:35

Stéphane Sessegnon has signed a one-year extension to his current contract and is now tied to Paris Saint-Germain until 2013.

Stéphane Sessegnon
"I'm very happy to have signed a new deal with PSG. I wanted to stay. I love this club. When I joined here last year I immediately knew why I'd signed here and recognised my own ablitions in the club. I was delighted that the club wanted to extend my stay and were happy with my performances. To know that PSG need me is the most important thing for me."

Philippe Boindrieux (PSG general director)
"We have reached our goal. We have extended Stéphane Sessegnon, Guillaume Hoarau, Zoumana Camara and Claude Makelele. We have also signed players such as Grégory Coupet, Mevlut Erding and Christophe Jallet. We've completed the biggest part of our summer transfer campaign and now will just have to make adjustments to compensate any players leaving the club. The important thing is that the players and coach get to know each other during the pre-season training camps."
