Left-sided full-back and midfielder Tripy Makonda, 19, has signed his first professional contract for three years with Paris Saint-Germain.

People might think it’s a reward for me, but this is for my family, my friends and the people that have helped me. For me, born and raised in Paris, this is a proud moment for me. Being a professional means a lot of work, a lot of sacrifices. This year I’m going to try and learn and improve. I hope to train as often as possible with the professional squad and get as much playing time as possible to gain more experience.”
