Paris Saint-Germain would like to officially announce that it will not be renewing the contract of coach Paul Le Guen, which expires on June 30, 2009.

The name of the Club’s next coach will be made public in the coming weeks. Paul Le Guen will continue to fulfil his current duties until the end of his contract.

The decision has been made now as Paris Saint-Germain begins its preparations for next season.

Paris Saint-Germain would like to thank Paul Le Guen for his hard work as coach and all he has achieved in nearly three years with the Club. Thanks to Le Guen, PSG’s new coach will inherit a healthy club, financially sound and a playing squad which has lived up to its sporting potential this season. Paul Le Guen has guided the Club through recent hardships to a point, today, where Paris Saint-Germain again stands at the forefront of the French game. The Club’s ambition to stay there remains intact for the end of the current campaign as well as the seasons to come.
