Sammy, what’s your analysis of the draw away to Lille?
“It’s a good point. I think everyone did what we needed to do to get something from the trip, even though sometimes we could have done better with our possession. But coming just three days after a UEFA Cup clash, it really is a good point earned.”

The result means PSG have stayed in contact with the other leading teams...
“That’s true and there are still a lot of matches coming up between direct rivals battling for European places and so it’s important to stay in touch. Now we just have to go on with it by getting all three points at home to Le Havre on Sunday.”

Your next match is this Thursday with a UEFA Cup quarter-final return leg in Kiev...
“In getting a scoreless draw at home, we’ve still got a chance of qualifying for the semi-finals. They are going to have to attack and that will give us some chances. We’ll just have to take those chances to get us through.”

Is the UEFA Cup a goal for the club this season?
“When you make it to the quarter-finals, you’re not far from the trophy so we’ll be doing everything we can to qualify for the semi-finals. From there, we’ll see what happens. These are great matches to be playing and we’ll try and get a semi-final for our fans.”

PSG are taking on Le Havre this Sunday. This game against the bottom club in the league could be a potential banana skin...
“Obviously, if we think it’s going to be easy, then we’re kidding ourselves. Le Havre need points to hope to stay up. We have to be focused, do what we have to do and, above all, make a good start to the match. We mustn’t underestimate this Normandy side. But if we play our normal football, I think we’ll get the points.”
