Paul Le Guen, Mika Landreau, Guillaume Hoarau and Vincent Planté look back on PSG’s 1-0 win over Caen.
Paul Le Guen:“It was a good win, especially since it came at the end of a match in which created a number of scoring chances. We defended well against a very good Caen side. Both goalkeepers played really well and it could have easily finished 5-2 to us… but we’re happy with the win as it is.”
Mickaël Landreau:
“We have our first away win of the season. Even if we didn’t get that second goal, we were valiant and solid throughout. The way we played tonight bodes well for the rest of the season. We were determined to bring something back from Caen, to build on our win over Bordeaux.”
Guillaume Hoarau:
“It’s great to be heading to the international break with three more points. We really needed to be strong for the full 90 minutes, and we were. We were solid at the back and we could have scored more goals at the other end, especially with the chances I had that I really should have out away – I’ll have to work harder.”
Vincent Planté (speaking to Foot+):
“The Parisians did their job tonight, showed their professionalism… and we were up against an excellent Mickael Landreau.”
