PSG were stylish winners over Sochaux thanks to a Guillaume Hoarau goal and a stunning hat-trick from Mevlut Erding.
Against his former club, Mevlut Erding put sentiments to one side. The PSG striker netted his first ever Ligue 1 hat-trick as his side ran out comfortable 4-1 winners over Sochaux. It was PSG’s top scorer that opened the hostilities, but the Sochaux ‘keeper Dreyer prevailed. Was the the sign of things to come for the PSG forwards? Guillaume Hoarau didn’t think so! After disposing of Perquis, he cut inside Boudebouz before the unstoppable finish! The Reunion Island striker opened the scoring and set Paris on the road to victory (1-0, 17’). Antoine Kombouaré’s side weren’t happy with the single goal lead. On the very next attack, Giuly was one-on-one with Dreyer and elected to cut the ball back for Erding. The PSG No.11 gratefully accepted the gift to double the mark (2-0, 18’). Yet the intensity remained intact. Jallet stormed down the right and cut into the area before crossing to the front post. Erding made no mistake with an angled shot inside the far post (3-0, 35’). Boudebouz got a goal back for the visitors from the penalty spot (3-1, 64’), but it was the Parisians who would complete the scoring. Hoarau set Erding through on goal and the Turkish Tank went past Dreyer and finished into an empty net (4-1, 70’). Paris Saint-Germain back on track ahead of next weekend’s trip to Nice, on Saturday at 19:00.PSG 4-1 FCSM
