Just two weeks before the start of the Ligue 1 season, PSG continued its preseason preparation against a physical Greek side from Panthrakikos.
Just as he had done for his first two friendly match of the season, coach Antoine Kombouaré decided to play two separate XIs - one in each half.Without Zoumana Camara (deep vein thrombosis), Jérémy Clément stepped into the centre of defence alongside Grégory Bourillon and Mevlut Erding made his PSG debut up front as the Parisians sported their away shirts for the first time this season. The former Sochaux goal machine was a constant thorn in the opposition defence. And the Greek defence finally cracked when Granddi Ngoyi struck early on(1-0, 12’).

The PSG side looked well organised but offered Arsenijevic the chance to equalise for the visitors before half-time. The Greek side’s defender took advantage of a misunderstanding between Greg Coupet and Sylvain Armand to draw their way back into the game (1-1, 28’).
The second-half was a quieter affair, thanks largely to the heavy pitch from the heavy rain on the eve of the match. Stéphane Sessegnon reminded the PSG fans of his skills with some breathtaking dribbles while Christophe Jallet raided up and down his a right flank to great effect – as did Arthur Baning down the left.
The 1-1 draw brought the curtain down on PSG France-based friendly matches as Antoine Kombouaré’s side heads first to Florence in Italy and then London, in Italy.
