In a press conference held on Friday evening, Paris Saint-Germain president Robin Leproux responded to a statement co-published by several supporter groups in the Auteuil stand.
Robin Leproux (PSG president)
"When you start talking about violence, telling me which stand it comes from doesn't make any difference to me. We know there are undesirable people, inacceptable attitudes and racism that we want to fight against. We know it exists. We already made inroads, but we haven't entirely eradicated the problem. But you can't start stereotyping. It's not only nice people on one side and nasty people on the other. We're not looking the other way and we're doing everything within our power to tackle violence and racism. There will be a lot of fans at the ground on Saturday and you can't just sum up PSG's supporters to those people in the Auteuil and Boulogne stands. The life and soul of PSG is not only found in those two stands."
