Opening draw for Italy v holders
Italy drew 1-1 with Spain in their opening match of Euro 2012 on Sunday at the Arena Gdansk in Poland. PSG midfielder Thiago Motta started the game while club mate Salvatore Sirigu remained on the bench.
In the other Group C match, Croatia defeated Ireland 3-1 in Poznan.
