His video was seen around the world. Inconsolable after his favourite team lost to Barcelona, Davi's tears touched the hearts of the Paris Saint-Germain squad, and in particular, his compatriots, to the point that the club decided invite him to France to spend a few days with his idols.
After touching down on French soil on Wednesday, the youngster moved to his temporary home near the Parc des Princes, before heading to the Ooredoo Training Centre on Thursday. Accompanied by his parents, the boy from Fortaleza started by watching his favourite players train on the terrace overlooking the pitch.
Then it was none other than Paris skipper Thiago Silva himself that gave Davi a personal guided tour of the complex, before presenting him, one by one, to his teammates before getting out the football for a few passes. It was a magical moment for young Davi, who didn't hesitate in promising Marquinhos that he will always support Les Rouge et Bleu.
He left the training centre with his arms full of gifts and a head full of memories; and yet this is only just the start of his visit. On Friday he visits Disneyland Paris before watching the final match of the season at the Parc des Princes, this Saturday against Caen. It promises to be a trip he will never forget!
