Laurent Blanc (Paris Saint-Germain coach)
"The main thing is the three points. If you want to analyse the match, I think we saw a Paris side that really struggled against a valiant Valenciennes side. There were a lot of challenges and duels against a side that was clearly fresher physically than us. We dug deep into our reserves against Monaco so it's tough to try and reproduce the same type of performance three days later. It was a very difficult match and the players are very tired. We will try and recover now because we have another tough game in three day's time against Toulouse at the Parc des Princes."
Blaise Matuidi (Paris Saint-Germain midfielder)
"Let's focus on the principal, which is the three points, because there were a lot of tired legs out there tonight. It was a very difficult match, but it's not the first and it won't be last this season. We are heading home with the win. We needed to win back those two points we dropped at home against Monaco and we've done that. Now we need to continue on our way forward."
Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Paris Saint-Germain forward)
"I feel really good after this win, even if it wasn't our best performance of the season. It's very important to win this type of match. We lost two points against Monaco and tonight we got all three and we needed them. It's very good for the confidence."
