From a lofted ball into the box, Ibra out-jumped his opponents and controlled on his chest before hi slow shot beat Fabien Audard, in the Merlus goal. Les Rouge et Bleu still trailed by a goal in the final minutes when Matuidi was brought down in the area. Penalty! Ibra assumed the responsibilities and confirmed his new status with the equaliser (2-2).
The fastest vs Lille 02.09.2012 (Week 4)
27 seconds… That's all it took for Zlatan Ibrahimovic to find the back of the net against Les Dogues from Lille. Put clear through on goal, Ibra won his one-on-one with Mickaël Landreau with a great curling finish into the bottom corner. Lille equalised but the giant Sweden striker but the LOSC 'keeper for a second time, this time with a little chip, as the Parisians recorded their first win in the championship.
The most spectacular vs OM 07.10.2012 (Week 8)
It didn't take Ibra long to leave his mark on the first Clasico of his career at the Stade Vélodrome. In the 23rd minute he cancelled out Gignac's opener. From Maxwell's corner, Zlatan volleys home first time... with an incredible flying backheel! Two minutes later he sends a free-kick missile fizzing past a startled Mandanda in the OM goal from 25m out. Unfortunately for Paris, Gignac would find an equaliser as it finished 2-2.
Mach 3 vs Valenciennes 11.12.2012 (Week 17)
The man from Sweden appears perfectly at home in the north of France. Already impressive against Lille, Ibra showed all his class against Valenciennes. Ibra showed his cunning and ruthlessness for the first, tackling home Lavezzi's initial shot. He was in the right place at the right time for the second as Penneteau failed to clear a first effort. Finally, played through by Lavezzi, Ménez laid the third on a platter as Ibra completed his hat-trick. There was even time for Lavezzi to add a fourth to complete the comprehensive win.
The last vs Nice 21.04.2013 (Week 33)
it was just last Sunday. After starting the move that led to Jérémy Ménez's opening goal, Zlatan Ibrahimovic got his own name on the scoresheet from the penalty spot when David Ospina brought down Lavezzi in the area. His perfect spot kick nestled into the side netting for his fourth penalty in the league this season. To complete the perfect evening, Ibra laid on the third for Chantôme as it finished 3-0.
