Coach, are you feeling any extra pressure ahead of this match against Rennes?
"No, there's no extra pressure, but I do think this is a very important moment in the season because we haven't won in our last two matches. We played very well with just ten men against Montpellier, and I want to see the same attitude against Rennes. Ahead of Christmas, we have a series of very important matches and we have objectives to meet."

Behind Paris, it's very tight on the league ladder. What do you think about the battle at the top?
"Ligue 1 is very competitive. Concerning our main rivals, we can't say who will be the most dangerous because it's still only the start of the season. Lille, for example, are back in the hunt and they are a very good team. But what interests me most today is Rennes, and they are having a very good season too. They are a very good side, very dynamic and this will be a very tough and important match for us. We need to win."

You obviously saw the four goals that Ibrahimovic scored in midweek with Sweden, and that chef-d’œuvre of a fourth. What did you think?
"He has done something simply incredible, but I'm not surprised. Four goals is very, very impressive. He is in excellent form."

Concerning your starting XI verus Rennes, can you give us any information?
"Thiago Motta is unavailable. He has a little alert and I don't want to take any risks so that he is ready for the trip to Kiev next week in the Champions League. Jallet is also missing and since Van der Wiel is suspended, Camara will play at right-back. In midfield, Matuidi is indispensable and he didn't play much for France on Wednesday and physically, he is in top form."

And finally, a word on Nene, who is back in the squad after fracturing his cheekbone...
"Nene is available this weekend and could be a solution for us in attack. He has recovered from his injury very quickly, has worked very hard in training and shown he is very motivated to play."
