Christophe, you are back in the capital after your first match with the France national team. How was it?
"Really good. I'm really happy to have been given the opportunity. It was an amazing moment for me. I got absolute maximum out of these few days with Les Bleus and hopefully there will be more to come."

What was going through your head when you realised Mathieu Debuchy was coming off injured and you would be coming on?
"In fact, I hadn't even seen that he was injured. It was about that time that I was meant to go and warm-up anyway, because I was going to come on at half-time. I was meant to go and warm-up at the 30-minute mark of the game. I was thinking about all of that, when suddenly I had a minute to warm-up and get on the pitch. I didn't really have the time to think about it at all and that was probably a good thing."

What did you think of France's overall performance in the scoreless draw against Uruguay?
"It was a very tough game, against a very good team, very defensive, very well organised. In terms of our play, there were certain things that need fixing, but don't forget there were a lot of new players and players coming back and that takes time. Defensively, it was good because we didn't concede a goal. There is still a bit of fine-tuning to do up front because with a bit more luck we could have scored one or more goals ourselves."

Paris Saint-Germain travels to Ajaccio on Sunday. How are you approaching the match?
"Very calmly. I think this is a match we have to get right. We dropped two points at home in our opening game against Lorient, 2-2, so we need to make up for it in Ajaccio. That means winning. We have to go with the idea in our heads that it's not going to be easy, that it's going to be tough. We'll have to be at 100%, even 120% to beat them. We can't take them lightly and we have to stay focused."

Thiago Silva arrived in Paris on Thursday. How was it meeting your new teammate?
"Good. We met him very briefly at training. He seems a little shy, so we'll try and make him feel at home as quickly as possible! I think there are enough Brazilians here to make sure he settles quickly so he'll be fine!"
