The PSG coaching staff came up with a 90-minute session for the 16 players that didn't take off to rejoin their national teams. Fitness, drills and attack versus defence were all on the menu. Returning from injury, Adrien Rabiot and Thiago Motta worked separately with the physical trainers. Under cloudy skies, the atmosphere on the pitch was all positive.

At the same time, all across Europe, PSG's internationals were preparing for their respective matches. Mamadou Sakho and Diego Lugano should both start for France and Uruguay in Le Havre, that kicks off at 21:00 CET. Blaise Matuidi and Christophe Jallet could appear off the bench. Called up for the first time with Les Bleus, the latter spoke to the official website of the French Football Federartion about his arrival at Clairefontaine: "It all went really well. I met the other players, because I didn't know many of them. The atmosphere is good. I'm really enjoying this call up, a reward for all my hard work. It's not the end of the road, but it's a very important moment for me. To represent your country is something exceptional, like we saw for the athletes at the Olympics. It's an honour."

The other duel between Parisian teammates in Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva takes place in Stockholm between Sweden and Brazil. However the giant Swedish striker may be ruled out with a painful right foot. With the Squadra Azzurra, Italy coach Cesare Prandelli has already announced that Salvatore Sirigu will start in goal, while Marco Verratti could earn his first full senior cap. The PSG squad will be back to its full quota at the Camp des Loges on Thursday, three days before the trip to Ajaccio.
