After ten days in Austria and then ten more in the United States of America, the Paris Saint-Germain squad returned to the Camp des Loges, just over a week before the start of the 2012-13 Ligue 1 season.
After returning from the USA on Sunday afternoon, the PSG squad's first session of the week was set down for Tuesday.
But before hitting the pitch, the club's two Italy internationals, Thiago Motta and Salvatore Sirigu reacquainted themselves with their teammates after their extended break. Euro 2012 finalists against Spain (0-4), the two Azzurri met up with another former Serie A star in the form of Zlatan Ibrahimović.

And it was also a special day for the Sweden captain who was training at the club's complex for the first time.

For this first session back in France, Carlo Ancelotti's men had a big physical workout before focusing on the football with several specific drills put in place by the coaching staff.
Just a few metres away, , Jérémy Ménez and Clément Chantôme worked under the orders of PSG's head fitness coach Giovanni Mauri.

All the players are preparing for the prestigious friendly match this Saturday, at 19:45 CET at the Parc des Princes, against Spanish giants Barcelona.
On Wednesday, another big day's training awaits with a first session, behind closed doors at 11:00, before another afternoon session at 16:00.
The aim now is to start accelerating the rhythm ahead of this weekend's big game... and beyond!
