For the last ten days, Momo Sissoko, suffering with an injured left knee, has been receiving treatment and undertaking his rehabilitation at the Aspetar centre in Doha. On the line from Qatar, the PSG midfielder spoke about his form and the capital club's pre-season...
Momo, you're not the first Parisian player to head to Doha to receive treatment for an injury (Pastore and Chantôme). How has your trip been?
"Everything has gone really well, I working in excellent conditions. I work very hard and coming here to Aspetar, to get over an old injury is great. Everything here is geared to getting you back on the park as quickly as possible."

Thanks to the prestigious recruitment this summer, PSG are now red-hot favourites for the Ligue 1 title. Is that extra pressure for you?
"It's true that everyone will be looking to knock us off, wherever we go, in France or in Europe. The club has invested a lot of money on excellent players and we know what is waiting for us. We're not then going to put more pressure on ourselves. We just have to go out there and do our job now, in Ligue 1 and in the Champions League."
On that subject, what should web e expecting of PSG this season in Europe?
"We want to perform well in the Champions League, especially since we have quality and depth all over the park. We are going to do everything to go as far as possible."
Of all the new signings, who impresses you the most?
"I think it's pretty obvious. Everyone knows that Zlatan Ibrahimović is going to be a huge addition to the squad and pull everyone towards new heights. He has won so many trophies, in every club he's played for which is very positive for us. He's a real competitor and that's great for Paris Saint-Germain, a club that is growing rapidly. I also think all the new signings are going to prove great additions to the squad."

You were at PSG last season and have witnessed first-hand the transition taking place this summer. Can you share your thoughts on PSG's new status?
"I've already played with world class players at other clubs, so it doesn't surprise me personally. It's the logical next step for the club. The fact that these big names are joining Ligue 1 all bodes well for the future. To have international stars in Ligue 1 will encourage more and more people to take an interest in our championship and enjoy it."
Ahead of the start of the 2012-13 Ligue 1 season, is the Ligue 1 title the number one aim?
"We're not going to hide from it: our objective is to win the league because we have all the ingredients to do it. We need to be focused and fix the mistakes we made last season, and we can get there."
