PSG will end their North American training camp with a friendly match against DC United. The MLS club, founded in 1995 is considered one of the biggest clubs in the USA. DC United have been crowned Major League Soccer champions 4 times (1996, 1997, 1999 and 2004), have won 2 USA Cups (1996 and 2008), 1 Concacaf Champions League (1998), 1 Copa Interamericana  (1998) and also 4 MLS Supporters' Shield (1997, 1999,2006 and 2007) - the trophy for the minor premiers (finishing first in the regular season).

DC United are currently coached by American Ben Olsen.  This former DC United midfielder and USA international (37 caps/6 goals) has been coaching the Washington-based outfit since retiring as a player in 2010.

DC United are currently leading the Eastern Conference.  After 17 matches (9 wins, 3 draws and 5 losses - 31 goals scored and 22 conceded)  Ben Olsen's men have 30 points and sit level with Thierry Henry's New York Red Bulls.  With 8 goals to his name, Chris Pontius is the club's top scorer in the MLS, while Canada international Dwayne de Rosario, has delivered a league high 9 assists.*

This match between DC United and PSG will be played at the Black-and-Red's home ground, the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium. Built in 1961 this multi-sport stadium , that also hosts baseball and American football matches, has a capacity of 57,000.  The stadium also hosted matches from the 1994 World Cup finals tournament, and the 2003 Women's World Cup finals, as well as music concerts and shows.  DC United are planning to change stadium, looking to move into a new 27,000-seater stadium.

The game will also present PSG with the chance to catch up with a former player in the form of Montenegro midfielder Branko Boskovic who has been with DC since 2010. United's No.8 played for PSG from 2003 to 2005 playing 36 matches in the capital and scoring 3 goals.
