Under the attentive gaze of Brazil international Thiago Silva, presented to his new fans ahead of kick-off at the Parc, Les Parisiens made an enterprising start. It was a let off for Francis Gillot's side, who sat deep, massing defenders in front of their goal and looking to hit on the counterattack. Les Parisiens continued to attack after the break. From a 20-metre free-kick in front of goal, Ibrahimovic sent a rocket fizzing past the post (53'). Bordeaux responded in kind through Nguemo (57'). Like against Lorient (2-2) and Ajaccio (0-0), Les Parisiens just couldn't find the right key to unlock their opponents in the final minutes and net that first win of the season. There next chance comes away to Lille at their brand new Grand Stade Lille Métropole next weekend...
