Antoine Kombouaré (PSG manager)
“A number of the players were out on the pitch for an hour this evening. It’s good to see that we are capable of leading and scoring two goals. Now we need to use this match in order to progress defensively. Another good point was the fact we picked up no injuries, even if I was a little worried for Nenê. We got stuck in tonight and all the ingredients of an official match were present. We will continue working and progressing”.
Guillaume Hoarau (PSG striker)
“We are still looking to hit our cruising speed, but the season has not yet started so that is normal. It was important not to lose, all the while getting our feelings back out on the pitch. It’s always annoying to finish up with a draw when you were two goals up. We still have a long way to go, we need to work hard, that is the only solution”.
Grégory Coupet (PSG goalkeeper)
“There were positive points to be taken from this match, notably the two goals that we scored, even if we did concede two goals at the end of the match after we had made changes to the team. We have to keep on working”.
