Antoine Kombouaré (PSG coach)
“It’s a very good point because it was earned in a very difficult game. When we conceded that goal it looked as though Auxerre could take control of the game but we fought our way back into the game. You have to congratulate the players who showed a lot of character. We had a great finish to the first half and created the better chances. We just lacked a little luck and AJA ‘keeper Sorin made a few saves. It was tougher going in the second half, even if we were rarely in danger at the back. At any rate, I’m proud of how my players played.”
Younousse Sankharé (PSG midfielder)
"It's my first goal in Ligue 1, but I have mixed feelings because I was at fault for the Auxerre goal. I'm happy to have scored, but disappointed for the team. But the draw is still a good result given the physionomy of the game. It was tough. Auxerre pushed right until the final whistle. We had chances, but we're happy to setttle for the point."
Guillaume Hoarau (PSG striker)
"This match meant a lot to Auxerre. If they'd won this evening, they'd be top of the table. At the moment, things aren't easy for us. People don't like us and they want to beat us. After the Cup game we knew it wasn't going to be easy coming here. The hardest part was to not throw in the towel and get the equaliser. Taht's what we did. We were solid and we leave Burgundy with a good point."
Sammy Traoré (PSG defender)
"It's the best way to prepare for our French Cup semi-final against Quevilly. Les Auxerrois were looking for revenge but we were desperate to hang on for a point. Now we're going to keep working. We've got Bordeaux next week. It's going to be very hard. I hope Auxerre win the league, or at least get into to Europe, if not the Champions League."
