Robin Leproux (PSG president):
"We have been informed of Yann's death. The Club would like to express its sincerest condolences and the pain and sadness we all feel to Yann's family. Yann's death must not be in vain. That's what his family told me. We have to keep moving forward and make some strong decisions to stop this violence around the Parc des Princes and on PSG away trips. We will continue to make decisions which will be unpopular with certain groups of supporters but which need to be made, once and for all, to see us progress in tackling this issue. We have to kick certain people out of the stadiums and out of football. I'm feeling rather emotional because we are living through a terrible drama. This emotion is felt right throughout the Club, all the players, the Board, the owners and the sponsors. Now we are going to take the responsibility and all necessary measures."

President, what do you think of the Minister for Sport, Rama Yade's comments concerning the future of PSG?
"Violence is a serious enough issue not to need sensationalising. Violence exists in football and in other professional Clubs. We are taking all possible and necessary action. A club has no judicial power and can't solve this problem on its own."

Will you take measures to eradicate this problem?
"Certain measure will be taken ahead of the coming season. For example, we will not be selling tickets for away matches for the rest of the season - for quite obvious reasons. We have crossed a line. It's terrible. We have suspended all conventions between the Club and the official supporter groups. We will go a lot further with more measures next season. I have the support of the Police forces. I welcome the news that arrests have been made because we have to arrest and condemn the perpertrators of this act. We are putting together a plan which, I'm sure, will see us make inroads into this problem. We can't continue like this."

Are there not concrete measures that can be take today?
"The required measure must be put in place seriously and meticulously. We mustn't penalise all the innocent supporters. Don't forget that we have more than 40,000 fans at the Parc des Princes. Emptying the Parc des Princes is not the answer. Quite the contrary, we want to welcome new supporters and keep our majority of well-behaved supporters."
