At the end of a light training session on Thursday, Marcos Cearà fronted up to the press to talk about PSG's League Cup elimination, before underlining the importance of bouncing straight back against Lille this weekend...

Marcos, how's the feeling in the squad after the Cup loss to Guingamp?
"I think everyone at the club was upset and disappointed with the result. We wanted to qualify for the quarter-finals, unfortunately, we lost. But we need to get straight back on track in the league and can't cry over spilt milk. We've got a tough match coming up against Lille."

What was the coach's talk like after the game?
"In the changing room, after the game, everyone was angry. The coach is the boss, so it's him that spoke last night and this morning. What he said, was that we have to bounce back against Lille."


How are you approaching the game against Lille?
"Lille are the in form team at the moment. Over the last six games, they've been the best team in the championship. They've beaten everyone. We're going to have to be at our very best to win. That's what we're preparing for. We have to show real desire and play together as a team. For an average team, it might be a tall order, but we're PSG are shouldn't be afraid of playing Lille. We're capable of winning away to them."
