Jérémy, Saint-Etienne are in a tough situation. How are you approaching this match?
"Saint-Etienne aren't at their best. They lost 4-0 to Lille on Thursday. They're struggling this season so they'll be coming to the Parc des Princes looking to show what they can do. It's going to be a tough game. They are going to look for a solid performance and will probably defend. We'll need to go at them from the start, put the pressure on score as quickly as possible."

Did you draw confidence from the team's performance against Bordeaux?
"Yes, because we carved out a number of good opportunities. We lost but we did some good things throughout the match. We played well, so it was more or less encouraging."

Do you feel you're playing a more attacking role this season?
"I'm scoring more than I have in recent seasons. I'm trying to get forward and support the attack more. I've always played in a position that needed me to stay in front of the defence. It's great to play a little further up the field and I'm enjoying it. It has come very naturally."

What do you think about the club's current 11th place in the standings?
"This year, everything can change very quickly. Last week, in beating Auxerre and Boulogne, we climbed the standings. Apart from Bordeaux, no other team is really getting away. If you win two or three in a row, you can quickly find yourself at the top."

Has the squad set a target to achieve before then end of 2009?
"It's never easy to play sides at the bottom of the table. We're lucky to have three home games. We want to climb the standings and to do that, we have to win at home."

Are you worried that Mevlut Erding will be missing again?
"We hope to have him back as quickly as possible. We need to deal with injuries and we've got a big enough squad to cover these absences. Injuries are always a set back, but they are always going the happen over the course of a season. Jean-Eudes (Maurice) played very well against Bordeaux and had a few dangerous situations. It certainly wasn't easy for him, to come on early away to the French champions. But he did well and that's good."
