Edel, how are you going this morning?
"A bit better now, but I haven't slept a wink. It's the first time I've ever seen an injury like that and i was really shocked."

Have you spoken to Greg Coupet?
"No, I tried to call him last night but his phone was turned off. I got an update from the Doctor Eric Rolland this morning. He's got a fractured ankle and is out for at least three months. I will telephone him this afternoon."

What frame of mind were you in when you came onto the field?
"I was really upset. When he got injured they said 'Edel, get changed, you're going on.' But I didn't really have my mind on the job, it was really tough. It's really shocking to see a teammate injured like that."

You received a great ovation from the fans...
"Like always. Each time I've played I've always felt the fans behind me. It's really great and I hope it continues."

It's always good to get your chance to shine as well...
"To a certain extent, I didn't want to get my chance in these circumstances, but that's the way it goes, that's life. I know some people will say I'm happy but that's not true. Greg, he's a teammate and now a friend so I felt really upset by what happened but now I have to get on with it. I've been working since I arrived, I've been waiting for my chance and here it is..."

To go back to Sunday's match, victory was imperative...
"We had to win. We'd lost to Marseille and at home to Nice. We needed to bounce back, especially in front of our fans and with a lot of big games coming up. It was a real morale booster for the squad."

How are you approaching Wednesday's game against Boulogne?
"It's a really tough league. There's never really a favourite for any match. We're going to Boulogne for the win, and nothing else. We don't need to calculate, we just need the three points."
