Antoine, how are you dealing with the news that two of your players have swine flu ahead of the trip to Marseille?
“Obviously we have a weakened squad. Sometimes you have ill players that don’t play much, but for Sunday, we’re without Hoarau who is injured, but we’ll also be without Ludovic Giuly, Mamadou Sakho and perhaps Jérémy Clément who we’re waiting for test results. I hope we don’t lose any more between now and the match.”

Are you going to ask that the game be postponed?
At any rate, we getting ready to play and I don’t want this to be an excuse for not going to Marseille. The powers that be have been informed and they will make the appropriate decisions. The rule says we aren’t allowed to play with less than eight players, I think. I’ll wait and see what the Ligue has to say.”

With all these absences, what are you hoping to get from the game?
“Today, we’re going to train in preparation for any normal match. Given our current situation, we need points. We need, therefore, to go to Marseille with the aim of winning.”

Dr Eric Rolland (PSG doctor)
“On Wednesday morning training, three players complained of what we call, a viral syndrome and we decided to see how they were after 24 hours rest. Once that time had elapsed and given the current situation, we asked for further examination that revealed two cases of H1N1. From this moment on, the decision to postpone the match or not, is entirely up to the Ligue. We are simply obliged to inform them of these cases, because we could have further contamination.”
