Since PSG’s 3-0 victory over Lille at the Parc des Princes on August 30, Mevlut Erding has been suffering from a persistently painful left shoulder, despite daily treatment from the club’s medical staff.

After another examination on Monday, September 7, the club medical staff decided that an immediate arthroscopic surgery was the best way to treat the current injury. Mevlut Erding will undergo surgery on his left shoulder on Wednesday morning.

His unavailability will depend on what work is undertaken during the arthroscopy.
