Jérémy, what’s the overriding feeling after yesterday’s draw with Montpellier?“Obviously, this morning, it’s the disappointment that reigns. Even if we weren’t amazingly good, we still had a great chance to claim all three points. We did the hard part in opening the scoring and that wasn’t easy against a good Montpellier side. It’s infuriating to concede a goal in added time at the end of the match from a set piece. Last season we lost the opening match of the season 1-0 to Monaco and managed to get going afterwards. But I also think Montpellier probably deserved to equalise because they played well. It’s a shame, but the season has only just begun.” Was the heat a factor in the result?
“It played a role, but nothing more. Even if it’s never easy to play in the south in August, the heat shouldn’t be an excuse. We played a friendly in Florence where it was a lot hotter than Saturday night in Montpellier.”
