Robin Leproux’s arrival
‘I made a promise and, as I always keep my promises, I present to you Robin Leproux who will become the full-time president that PSG need. I’m very happy to have that rare pearl,” declared Sébastien Bazin in front of the numerous members of the press present at the Parc des Princes on Friday. “The word president is a very important term in football. We want to see and speak about a president with a capital P. That’s why PSG needed a full-time president.”
“The next general assembly, which will normally be held towards the end of August, will official see Mr. Laproux appointed. Until then Robin Leproux will be advisor to the president, however he will make decisions concerning the club,” added Sébastien Bazin.
The PSG mission
“I’ve spent a lot of time with Robin and we share similar values of loyalty and fidelity. Above and beyond these qualities, Robin Leproux has also successfully directed companies such as M6 and RTL,” continued Sébastien Bazin. “Today, he now has a wonderful car to drive to further success and it’s up to him to take PSG even further. Paris Saint-Germain can be proud of his appointment.”
“PSG is an incredible club that I respect enormously,” revealed Robin Leproux. “I’m a Parisian, I play football and this club represents my city. I want to work hard for this club, bring my knowledge of football and my desire to the club. Just like my position of defender on the pitch, I’m prepared to sacrifice myself for the rest of the team.”
But the final word was reserved for Sébastien Bazin: “We’re all passing through PSG. We are here to serve the club and not the contrary. The important thing is just to leave our mark.”
