At just 19 years of age, attacking midfielder Abdelaziz Barrada has had a great season with the PSG reserve team in the French fourth division and has been called up to Paul Le Guen's first team squad on numerous occasions throughout the 2008/2009 season. The Provins-born player has signed a one-year deal.

Abdelaziz Barrada (PSG midfielder)
"It's the start of a long journey. I've done nothing for the moment and still have to prove myself at PSG. I'd like to thank everyone that stood by me and believed in me and here I am today. I've dreamed of this moment ever since I first joined PSG. I've got this far thanks to hard work and I'm really delighted."

Philippe Boindrieux (PSG general manager)
"Signing the young players is very important for us. The youth academy is the future of the club. It's also proof of the quality we have in the reserve squad and shows that we don't only bring on good young talent, but that we bring them into the professional set up at the club too."
