Paul, there’s a huge anticipation ahead of Sunday’s game at home to Rennes...
“We’re under pressure because at the end of the season there’s a possible qualification for the Champions League or the Europa League. But that may change depending on Lyon’s result on the Saturday. But everyone is looking forward to Sunday’s game. All the same, there are still five games to go and not everything will be decided on Sunday’s result.”

What are your aims for Sunday’s game?
“We’re playing for a place in Europe. We’ll see what happens. Obviously, we still hope to climb a few places in the standings. But Marseille, Bordeaux and Lyon all have better squads than us – even though that won’t stop us if we have the opportunity.”

How do you rate this Rennes team?
“Rennes have lost two key elements in Mangane and Briand. But they are a very good team and this will be a very good match. I saw them play against Grenoble and Bordeaux, and they are very strong.”

People are saying that Rennes may not have their minds on the job...
“I’m convinced they won’t be here to give away easy points. Just a week before the French Cup final, playing in a full stadium in Paris... They’ll be looking for all three points. And playing against PSG is always a huge match.”

What do you think of Marcos Ceará’s season?
“I’m very happy with his season to date. He’s had to get through a lot of work and he’s played a lot of matches. He’s a good player, a real professional and a great member of this squad... I’m delighted to coach a player like that. I hope he extends his contract with Paris Saint-Germain. I’m happy that he managed to turn it all around after last season.”
