How are you approaching the Lyon clash?
“I’m delighted to be returning to the Stade Gerland and playing in an important match like this one. It’s going to be a great match, difficult but also passionate.”
PSG is all set for the final sprint finish...
“We can’t wait for these final matches. We pretty well placed but we’ve also got some tough away games coming up.”
Is this not the best time to be taking on Lyon?
This Lyon is injured, but desperately needs the points to stay in the title race and also the Champions League race. They simply must win. We also want to stay in the hunt, get into the mix. I think it’s going to be a really fantastic match of football.”
What’s the atmosphere in Lyon going to be like for such a big game?
“I’m expecting a huge atmosphere. I think the Lyon fans will be right behind their team. It could be their last chance to stay in contact with Marseille and Bordeaux. The players are going to be hyper-motivated and it’s going to be a tough welcome for us. But it’s still exciting to be playing a game like this.”
It must be a real pleasure after last season...
“I’ve never had a problem being here and always enjoyed myself. I’m proud to be here. We did well to hold on last year and we played in two Cup finals as well. But obviously it’s nicer to be enjoying a season like this.”
