Paul Le Guen
“The score is a little flattering, given how the game went. We could even have won 3-0 or 4-0 given that we created some great chances after opening the scoring. The match was more or less even, but we took our chances. We defended well against a very good side. The final score is very good for us, but it’s far from over. I’m convinced it’s dangerous to always play the same starting XI. But overall, I’m satisfied with my team’s performance. I saw some great fight and spirit, and also a lot of discipline.”

Félix Magath (Wolfsburg coach)
“We leave here with a loss - something we wanted to avoid, and particularly by two goals to nil. But we still have a chance in the return leg. We can turn this situation around. We show time and again that we are much better at home than we are on the road. We have to keep that in mind and try and do what we can to turn this around next week. We’ll give it everything for 90 minutes.”

Tripy Makonda
“It’s great to win 2-0. We’ve got a good lead ahead of the return leg. For my first match with the pros, I just tried to play simple at first. Then I grew in confidence and tried to play how I normally play. I don’t really have a favourite position. N the U-13s I played left-midfield, in the U-14s I was a defensive midfielder, then in the U-18s I was back on the left or left-back... (Sylvain Armand comes to listen in to the interview). With the reserves and the first team I think I could play left-back, but Sylvain is there for now so I’m going to let him finish the season...”

Edel
“The 2-0 score is great for the return match. We didn’t concede a goal and that was very important. It’s not easy to play every two or three days but I’ll just do my best to make the most of my chances.”

Nicolas Sarkozy
“It was a great game and a good performance from the PSG side. They scored twice and could even have added a third. PSG are second in the league, the results in Europe are good – what more could you ask for? It’s a great way to end the day.”
