Paul, Jérôme Rothen is not in the squad to play Nancy…
“His struggling with a right calf muscle problem. He was in more pain today than he was yesterday… he still trained but had to pull out of the game. We’re getting used to overcoming these sort of set-backs in the last few weeks. We’ve had several set-backs recently. We’re already without Mamadou Sakho, Claude Makelele and Ludovic Giuly – who are all important to the squad. I’m not one who normally complains, so I have to find solutions, so that the team is as balanced as possible for the trip to Nancy.”

Against Kayserispor, Fabrice Pancrate injured his ankle. Is he fit for Sunday?
“Fabrice got the injury seen to and is available so I’m happy about that. He’s starting to play regularly and is playing well. Since the start of the season he’s been concentrating his job and he’s doing great. We had a few problems at the start, but everything is going well now and I’m really happy with his performances.”

What do you think of the ASNL coach, Pablo Correa?
“I like him and he’s doing a great job at his club. Pablo, is hot-blooded and perhaps he expresses himself a little bit more than I do (smile). We’ve met several times and I have a great professional respect for him. I respect what he’s done with Nancy. He’s succeeded season after season. So, hats off!”

What do you make of the Nancy team?
“Nancy are still in the League Cup and the UEFA Cup. That leans they’re still competing on all fronts. They struggled a little at the start of the season, but I watched their last match on Thursday in Scotland and they are a solid outfit. They played really well. We slowly starting to see again the Nancy we know.”

How do you see Guillaume Hoarau’s current problems in front of goal?
“There not a whole lot to say. Guillaume should be scoring more goals. I’m convinced he’ll get there. He works hard at training and is trying to improve. I saw all his goals last season for Le Havre in Ligue 2 and the potential is there. Ligue 1 is the next level up… it’s tougher. Last year he showed great composure in front of goal and he needs to rediscover that this season.”
