Paul Le Guen (PSG coach)
“It’s good to be qualified. I think we did what we had to do, even if it took us a little while to get going. It’s impressive to have qualified away to Monaco, having rested a few of the players and given some fresh players the chance to play. We’ve played three away games in six days, winning two and losing one. It’s a good result. We’re in the competition, so we’re going to do what we can to win it, like we did last year. We’re the defending champions so obviously we want to defend our title.”

Fabrice Pancrate (PSG forward)
“From both a personal and collective point of view, it was a satisfying match. I struggled a little to get into the game, but in the end, we won and that’s the main thing. No matter how we did it, the aim was to qualify for the next round – and that’s what we’ve done. Now it’s behind us and we have to turn our attentions to the visit of Grenoble on Saturday.”

Jérôme Rothen (PSG midfielder)
“The aim was to qualify for the last-16. It wasn’t easy, because it wasn’t an easy draw. But we pulled out a big game and made up, somewhat for our loss to Saint-Étienne. It’s good to win to start a new series of games. I was poor against Saint-Étienne, so I was keen to play again immediately and make up for that performance. I’ve done that now, and I’m happy. Now we need to go on with it and play well again this Saturday against Grenoble.”
